The Process Intelligence discipline refers to the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data generated by processes (ie. business logs) and multiples activities within an organization with the goal of improving efficiency, productivity, and overall performance.
The process of process intelligence involves gathering data from various sources such as workflow management systems, ERP or CRM applications, and other transactional systems, and then using various dedicated analytical tools (the process Mining solutions) and methodologies to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
The insights gained from process intelligence can be used to optimize processes, reduce waste, and make data-driven decisions to improve the overall performance of an organization. It is also interesting to reuse this knowledge to ensure that the processes will no longer suffer from drifts.
